ASOLO REPERTORY THEATRE GUILD

Developing a Deeper Appreciation for the Theatre and Supporting Educational Opportunities for Children in Florida

We are a group of lively men and women, varying in age, who are stimulated by a wide array of theatre-related programming. We enjoy creative activities and deepening our appreciation for the theatre in general (Asolo Rep in particular!), while giving area students the opportunity to discover and enjoy live theatre by raising funds for Asolo Rep's Education & Outreach's program Access to the Arts.

We would love for you to join us! Please click here to download our brochure and membership form or call Barbara Maier at 941-358-3484.

This award is presented annually to an area high school for outstanding achievement, innovation and progress in their theatre programs. Adjudication Form  High School Performance Dates

Tour Guides – The Guild established and supports the Asolo Rep Tour Guides program. Each year, tour guides conduct hundreds of tours of the FSU Center for the Performing Arts, giving a backstage glimpse of the rehearsal halls, costume shop, green room and more! The tours last 45 minutes and are available Wednesdays-Saturdays at 10:00 and 11:00 a.m.

Play Readers – The lively playreading group of the Guild meets monthly to read and discuss plays. Our members present readings for many community groups to promote Asolo Rep, raise funds for Access to the Arts, and share their love of theatre!
