ACTOR AUDITIONS
FOR THE 2005-2006 ASOLO SEASON
WHAT:
The Asolo Theatre Company is seeking actors, Equity and non-Equity, for its 2005-2006 season auditions. Season Information is on our website at www.asolo.org.
Previous acting experience is preferred.
WHO:
- Older character actress
- Middle-aged character actress
- African-American male in 20’s or 30’s
- African-American female in 20’s or 30’s
- Woman in 20’s
- Young boys (aged 10-14) to play roles in To Kill a Mockingbird and A Christmas Carol
- Young girls (aged 10-14) to play roles in To Kill a Mockingbird and A Christmas Carol
- Boy aged 6-10 to play Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol
WHEN:
The local auditions for the 05-06 season will be held May 20 and 21.
- Adults – Friday, May 20
- Children – Saturday, May 21
WHERE:
FSU Center for the Performing Arts
5555 North Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL
HOW:
Actors should prepare two contrasting monologues, not to exceed three minutes
total, and bring a non-returnable headshot with resume attached to the back.
