Celebrate the launch of Asolo Rep’s 50th anniversary season on
March 29, 2008 in the courtyard of the Ringling Museum in Sarasota
 


(Sarasota, Florida) – Asolo Repertory Theatre celebrates the 2008 Gala, A STAR IS BORN, on March 29, 2008 at the RinglingMuseum in Sarasota. Asolo Rep’s anniversary season launch gala benefits the students of the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training. Join Asolo Rep for a black-tie event that will feature a full orchestra, gourmet delicacies, dancing, and outstanding auctions. Activities of the night included a performance by Key Chorale, a string trio, live and silent auctions, costumed actors, and spectacular music and dancing. Also performing at the event are Ron Sharpe and Barbra Russell, the talented producers of A Tale of Two Cities who met while appearing in the musical Les Miserables.
