ASOLO REP ANNOUNCES
LOCAL ACTOR AUDITIONS FOR THE 2008-2009 SEASON
June 19, 2008 (Sarasota, FL) - Asolo Repertory Theatre is seeking actors, Equity and non-Equity, for its 2008-2009 season of plays, which performs in rotating repertory from October 2008 through June 2009. Season Information is posted on the website at www.asolo.org.
DATES: Saturday, July 12 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on Monday, July 14 from Noon until 8 p.m.
WHERE: Asolo Rep will hold auditions in the FSUCenter for the Performing Arts at 5555 North Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, FL. Audition appointments are for five (5) minutes each.

Prepare 2 contrasting monologues.

Provide a non-returnable headshot with resume attached to the back.

An accompanist will be provided only on Monday, July 14 between Noon and 8:00 p.m. If you will be singing, please be prepared to sing 16 bars (bring music) and one monologue.

Leave a message with your name, number, audition day preference, and a general time frame preference (for example: morning before 11; or from 1– 2 p.m.; etc.) You will be contacted to confirm your appointment time.
Asolo Repertory Theatre auditions are open to Equity and Non-Equity adults and teens, as well as boys between the ages of 8 to 12 years. Please note that while these are open auditions for the season, there are *NO* roles for young girls in our 2008-2009 season.
All significant roles are understudied. Asolo Repertory Theatre is committed to equal opportunity employment and a flexible, non-traditional casting policy.
