ONE ACT PLAYS

MARCH 24, 25 & 26

15 MINUTES by Jaime Tintor
TV's newest reality show is this season’s best kept secret…eerily enough, it's even a secret to the show’s contestants! A scathing satire of American celebrity culture, "15 Minutes" explores America's obsession with pop culture, big brother, murder and mayhem! A refreshingly black comedy!

THE ROOM by Jaime Tintor
A family secret is revealed in a northern Minnesota sauna.

 ICU by Brad Makarowski
Who knew the Intensive Care Unit was the new way for single people to find love?
In this funny original one act, the dance between the sexes is turned on its ear,
Making us wonder if fairy tales need to be rewritten.

  SAVAGE IN LIMBO
An arresting and brilliantly inventive play which moves from comedy to near tragedy as it explores the hopes and dreams of a group of rootless young "losers" who congregate in an anonymous Bronx bar, hoping to find respite from the drabness of their lives.

"John Patrick Shanley has written an often searing, existential and dramatically compelling work dealing with our search for roots and purpose in an often purposeless world." — BackStage.

Asolo Late Night Series productions are sometimes spontaneous, often experimental, and a little bit edgy. Many of these productions are the original works of the very talented MFA Conservatory students. There's nothing else in town like the Late Night Series. The Asolo Theatre Company is proud to sponsor the Late Night Series as free, after-hours events. There is no charge and seating is first come, first served. Donations to the student fund are always appreciated.
