ACTOR AUDITIONS
FOR THE 2006-2007 ASOLO REP SEASON
WHAT:
Previous acting experience is preferred.
WHO:
- Males 18 years of age and older for roles in A Few Good Men. African-American and Hispanic actors strongly encouraged to attend.
- Actor who plays snare drum for a role in A Few Good Men.
- Young woman aged 15 – 18 to play Kitty in Pride and Prejudice.
- Males 6’0” and taller with good carriage and movement to play attendants in Amadeus.
- Mature actor to play Bono in Amadeus.
- Young singers (boys and girls aged 8-15) for chorus roles in The Plexiglass Slipper.
- Singers 16 years of age and older for chorus roles in The Plexiglass Slipper
WHEN:
- Sunday, June 18 and Monday, June 19, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days
- Music auditions on Sunday, June 18th ONLY
WHERE:
- FSUCenter for the Performing Arts (The RinglingCenter)
- 5555 North Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL
HOW:
· Actors should prepare two contrasting monologues, not to exceed three minutes total, and bring a non-returnable headshot with resume attached to the back.
· Singers should prepare 16 bars. An accompanist will be provided, singers must provide sheet music.
· Auditions are by appointment only and must be scheduled by calling Corinne Gabrielson at 941-351-9010 Ext. 3300.
