Announcing Two New Plays For The 2004-2005 Asolo Season
Sarasota, FL (June 3, 2004) -- The Asolo announces the addition of two new titles to its 2004-2005 season - The West End Horror and Tuesdays With Morrie. The West End Horror replaces Enchanted April in the Harold E. and Esther M. Mertz Theatre from November 26, 2004 - March 6, 2005. Tuesdays with Morrie was added to the Jane B. Cook Theatre season and runs from May 6-29, 2005.
“We’re excited to offer a new murder mystery after the huge success we saw with Murder by Misadventure. The West End Horror was slated for the 2003-2004 season, but was stalled by contract negotiations. The details have been worked out and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to present it now. Since we were unable to obtain the rights to Enchanted April this season, it was a natural switch,” says Howard Millman, the Asolo’s producing artistic director.
Additionally, Tuesdays with Morrie is an Asolo Theatre Company production that has been added to the Jane B. Cook Theatre 2004-2005 season.
Millman continued, “Tuesdays with Morrie is just a wonderful play that we’re lucky to get. I know audiences will be very pleased with both shows.”
