Asolo Leader Listed Among
Who’s Who in Tampa Bay Business
SARASOTA, FL (Wednesday, July 28, 2004) - Tampa Bay Business Journal's inaugural issue of Who’s Who in Tampa Bay Business names Howard Millman, the Asolo's producing artistic director, among the top movers and shakers in the Tampa Bay area.
According to the publisher, Arthur Porter, those named were judged by criteria beyond money or political influence. “Those selected are residents of the TampaBay area who have made positive contributions to our quality of life… We believe we have pulled together the top people in their fields.”
Listed on page 21 of the annual Who’s Who in TampaBay Business for 2004 published in May, Millman is named among the top 25 business leaders in the Tampa Bay Area Travel and Tourism industry.
Howard Millman commented, “It is gratifying to know that the work of the Asolo Theatre is recognized through out the TampaBay area. As the leader of this wonderful theatre I am grateful that our work has lead to this personal honor.”
The Tampa Bay Business Journal is published weekly by American City Business Journals in Tampa, Florida. The journal has an average weekly readership of more than 36,000.
The Asolo is funded in part by the Division of Cultural Affairs, Florida Department of State, The Florida Arts Council, the City and County of Sarasota and the Sarasota County Tourist Development Tax through the Board of County Commissioners, the Tourist Development Council, and the Sarasota Arts Council.
