Town Hall is your first opportunity to meet and welcome the actors of the Asolo Theatre Company’s 2004-2005 season and learn more about their roles in the upcoming productions. Howard J. Millman, producing artistic director for the Asolo, will introduce the cast of Equity, student and community actors for this exciting season. Audiences will also be introduced to the the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training second-year students who will perform in the Conservatory’s productions in the Jane B. Cook Theatre. A reception with the actors and students will follow in the lobby.
The much anticipated Season of Enchantment and Dreams flies in with the classic adventure story, Peter Pan, which runs from November 19 through the holidays to January 1. Following soon after is Sherlock Holmes & The West End Horror (November 26-March 3); Broadway Bound (December 3-March 31); The Smell of the Kill (January 21-May 5); The Front Page (January 28-May 3); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (March 18-May 8); and Menopause The Musical™ (May 14-June 12) – all performing in the Harold E. and Esther M. Mertz Theatre.
Additionally, in the Jane B. Cook Theatre, the Asolo performs Mitch Albom’s Tuesdays with Morrie from May 6-29. The FSU/Asolo Conservatory plays in the Jane B. Cook Theatre include The Two Gentlemen of Verona (November 24-December 12), Boston Marriage (January 5–23), and The Island of Slaves (April 13-May 1).
Single tickets for the 2004-2005 season go on sale to the general public Monday, October 18, 2004; the $99 Play Pass, $25 Student Pass and Equity Pass, and season subscriptions are currently on sale. Subscribers and Pass holders may now purchase single tickets for Menopause The Musical ™.
